Invoice #109 to Community Agroforestry/Food Parks

Donation funds support the ongoing development and long-term sustainability of our Community Food Parks project, which creates accessible, productive growing spaces that provide food, education, and hands-on opportunities for communities to engage with regenerative agriculture. Funds help cover operating expenses for our community nursery, where we propagate and grow edible trees, perennial crops, herbs, and other useful plants. By maintaining our own nursery, we can provide healthy, locally adapted plant material while significantly reducing the cost of establishing and expanding these projects. Funds also support the continued development of the Isabela school garden, including educational and botanical signage that helps students, teachers, and visitors identify plants and understand their uses. Ongoing maintenance trips allow us to prune, plant, replenish materials, troubleshoot problems, and keep the garden progressing as it becomes established. An important part of these visits is working directly with school staff, providing practical training so they develop the knowledge and confidence to care for the garden and incorporate it into the school community over the long term.
