We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that for over 27 years has paid for all medical treatment and services to children from newborns to 21 years from low-income families in Puerto Rico.  We cover medicines, labs studies, surgeries, medical evaluations and follow up visits, as well as psychological treatment, among many other services.  We are a private corporation, which, although was born from San Jorge Children’s Hospital, has evolved and pays for services to doctors, labs, pharmacies, and hospitals throughout Puerto Rico.

In addition to San Jorge Children’s Hospital, we offer our services in Puerto Rico Children's Hospital in Bayamón, which soon will open a new private pediatric Oncology Ward, in Auxilio Mutuo Pediátrico in Hato Rey and Hospital Oncologico in Centro Médico to provide help to more pediatric patients with cancer and other conditions in these Hospitals as well.  The Foundation also covers medical services to more than 16 substitute homes for children in Puerto Rico.

We also have a School Program, where we provide school services throughout the island, with 12 certified teachers who help our patients during their illness and recovery period, in the hospital or at home so that they can continue with their treatment without interrupting their education.
