Feb. 2023 Update - the drying racks are built and processing begins!

Here is a short update video on the progress to date.

We surivved Christmas, the new year, three kings, and several birthdays...  Sigh, Puerto Rican family stuff takes up a lot of time...

But we've created the first pass on the business plan, built some first drying racks, harvested the first almonds and are now beginning processing.  Over the coming 6 months or so we will be determining the best stage to recieve almonds, how much electricity is needed per batch, how much drying space is needed, how much drying time is needed, which variety of almendra trees are best, and a bunch of other details.

The almendra trees are flowering now and fruit drop should happen soon after.  We are working to get ready for a big push of processing in a few months.

We will organize a community harvesting day to get a big load of almendras - so stay tuned for participating and having a fun day with other Rinconians.

We super appreciate your support!
