25 años de Andanza
Celebrate with us our 25 year anniversary with an incredible show of contemporary dance with live music.

About
Andanza, Puerto Rican contemporary dance company directed by Lolita Villanúa, celebrates its first quarter of a century with the production 25 AÑOS DE ANDANZA.
The first act will include three new choreographs inspired on our country. The choreographer Carlos Iván Santos will create a piece, inspired on boleros, that will have live music interpreted by "Marili Maricucha" Pizarro y su combo. Jaime Maldonado will address themes of the current Puerto Rico through his new artistic proposal, accompanied by commissioned music of Gabriel Rivera, who will interpret it live on stage with Damián Castillo Basora. The costume design will be by WMurphy.
Between the two works, Taller Juvenil Andanza will interpret a choreograph by Eloy Ortiz, its creative director. Alexander Ramírez Rivera will perform live the music that he composed for the piece.
The show's second act will include the piece Tempus Fugit, an existential reflection about life and time created by Antonio Gomes, a Brazilian choreographer based in Swiss. The work is inspired in the music Concerto Grosso No. 1 of composer Alfred Schnittke, and counts with a monumental scenography conceptualized by the invited choreographer and Jorge Ramírez.
