About
De Frente al Alzheimer, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 2015 by Teresa Seda. As a caregiver to her Mom, she experienced the emotional and financial struggles Alzheimer disease brings to a family. De Frente al Alzheimer, Inc. educates and creates awareness about the Alzheimer condition and provides financial support to pre qualified low income Alzheimer patients in Puerto Rico.
Families with Alzheimer patient invest more than $3,000.00 monthly in medicine, medical appointments, nurses, adult diapers, special food, caregivers and medical equipment among other necessities. Thanks to the generosity of our donors De Frente al Alzheimer Inc, has impacted more than 450 families on the island disbursing more than $400,000.00.
The financial support that De Frente al Alzheimer, Inc. offers every year is build up through fund raising activities that are crucial to our mission. These activities have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. But Alzheimer isn't stopping because the spread of the coronavirus, so neither can we.
The role of De Frente al Alzheimer, Inc. is more critical than ever and the best way to fight it is together.
